Boerne is a beautiful city situated in Central Texas, in Kendall County and only 30 miles northwest of the city of San Antonio. In 2008, Boerne Champion High School opened and followed in the footsteps of Boerne High School with successes in athletics, cross-country, tennis and boys’ soccer.

Boerne has numerous attractions, which include two limestone solution caves containing cavernous areas of natural, living limestone and a vast number of spectacular stalactites and stalagmites. Visitors find that many of the shops are located in charming historic buildings and the historic feel of the area enhances their dining experience. The large number of artistic events and galleries further enhance the warm cultural feel of Boerne, and the Agricultural Heritage Museum is always worth a visit. Another popular attraction is the Boerne Community Theatre, which has been putting on shows since 1991. The theatre provides three special drama camps for children in the summer, plus two teen troupe shows and a “Theatre on the Edge” special.
